Good morning! I’m up and at em and ready to blog! I am going to start with our trip to San Diego. This is what our trip consisted of:
-The San Diego Temple. It was Gorgeous, holy cow. They have an atrium inside the temple up by all the sealing rooms. One of the most beautiful temples I have ever seen and been in.
-We did a session, I was preparing myself very carefully so I didn’t have to get up in the middle of everything and everyone and throw up, how embarrassing! So I packed my pockets with crackers and these candies called, preggie pops, that help with nausea. I was just praying I could make it through the session. I did by the way, I was so grateful!
-After the temple we weren’t so lucky. We went to eat at a restaurant by the temple. It was like a Red Robin type place. I was trying to be careful so I just got a salad. I took 1 bite and was getting a little nervous, Dustin said I shouldn’t wait long to go to the bathroom, I think he could see it in my face. I went to the bathroom and barely made it to the stall before I was throwing up. It was so fun!
-After that we just went back to the hotel, I know boring! Dustin got me a Jamba juice, then after laying there for about an hour I was in the bathroom again. There was a point in my most pitiful of thoughts I though “I am Never gonna feel better, and this trip is going to be ruined!”
-The next morning and day I felt awesome .
-We took it easy that morning, no rush to get anywhere, in our efforts not to upset the baby.
-I wanted to go to the beach and just chill, so we found the one closest to where we were and this is what we stumbled upon:
-A dog beach. I was cracking up!! There were hundreds of dogs having the time of their life. It was actually really fun to watch, there were some beautiful dogs there. It made us excited to get one in the far future.
-In our time spent at the dog beach, I realized that dogs match their owners. For example, there were many Pugs there and their owners were always short, a little bit over weight women. There were a lot of Pit Bulls, whose owners were wearing wife beaters and had tattoos and gages. Then there were fast, big and in shape Golden Retrievers and Huskies, whose owners were tall, tan and athletic looking. I know that I am stereo typing but when the shoe fits! Looks like Dustin and I are gonna have to get a Great Dane and a Bulldog.
-That night we went to the Padres game. It was a lot of fun, the stadium was amazing, they lost but it was still fun….
-Oh geez I almost forgot, before the Padres game we were going to go somewhere to eat, we heard of this place in Old Town Mexico, which is where Americans first settled San Diego, called Old Town Mexican Café. We wanted to go pretty bad and Mexican sounded delicious. This day was May 5th, or in other words Cinco de Mayo.
-It took us 30 minutes to get off the freeway, 25 minutes to find a parking spot and it was over an hour wait. At this point I am starving, hot and there were drunken, half naked ,white idiots surrounding me. I told Dustin we had to bag it or I was going to get myself into trouble.
-We left and tried to find another Mexican place to eat at before the Padres game. Yeah, that was another 2 hours of driving around with no success. I am now basically feeling dead. I was past hungry, tired and hot. I had tears rolling down my cheek and I wanted to kill my wonderful husband who was trying so hard to feed me and make me happy.
-We gave up and ate at Chipotle next to the stadium.
-Then we went to the game
Dustin face is a mix of dealing with the wrath of pregnant, hungry wife and the walk of death it took to get to our seats.
-Then we went back to our hotel. Every night of this trip we were back and in bed by 10:00. It was wonderful
-San Diego Zoo baby!
No big deal, just a cheetah crossing the street.
-Highlight of the Zoo, the polar bear, the Monkey’s and the cats.
-After the zoo we finally got to go to the Mexican Café, it was much less crowded and sweaty. We got right in and had one of the best meals I have ever had!
-Then we did the Mormon Battalion tour, which was really cool. If you ever go to San Diego, go the the Old Town Mexican Café and do this tour, it’s So fun for kids!!
-Thanks San Diego for a trip to remember
-Quickly some other thing that have happened. My cousin Jake got home from his mission! (sorry best pic I got of him)
-My little sister, Annie, graduated! I couldn’t be more happy haha. Isn’t she a hot babe!?
-My little bother Sam got baptized! I am so proud of him!
I don’t know what the heck he is doing right here
-This is me at like 13 weeks pregnant
-This is me at 18 weeks pregnant, which I am right now. Please excuse my pants, I didn’t realize how embarrassing they were till I posted this pic. Oh dear!
-I am feeling great! I can feel our sweet baby move everyday. I can eat now. I even have enough energy and am not nauseated that I could actually help Dustin clean and reorganize our front room a little bit! We took the piano out of baby’s room and put it in the front room. We like it, it makes it feel more homey.
Dustin even installed our new faucet that we have had for a while now, I was SO happy! We have water pressure that I don’t know what to do with!
-I only throw up if I get over heated or eat like crap, go figure. I am really feisty, I say things that I would never dare say and I am ready to say things to someone if something comes up. That kinda drives me crazy! I am mean to Dustin, I HATE that most about being pregnant. My lowest moment so far, I was with my family and I said out loud, I haven’t even seen Dustin today and I want to punch him in the face. Not my proudest moment. I hope that after this is all done he still loves me. I have to pee very often. There comes a point every single day that we have to go home because I need to take my pants off. My stomach expands throughout the day, After dinner I feel like I will explode. I just reread all of that and you may be thinking oh she must hate being pregnant. I do sometimes, but most of the time I love it! It’s amazing to me what my body is doing and that I have another human inside of me. I love being able to feel him/her, Dustin and I think it’s a boy, we will find out in a week from today!! .
-Well there it all is folks, I am a rambler today! Sorry. But I have to go now, my mother-in-law and I are going to paint the baby’s room.

Good glory I'm glad you posted finally! So much excitement! You look adorable and I love that you are fiesty. It's even funnier because you are the nicest girl ever! Haha hope to see you guys soon!
Fun trip, you look great and I can't wait to see the baby's room. Pregnancy hormones are something else, you are totally normal. At least you didn't cry watching king of queens like I did. Who does that? Can't wait to meet that little boy. Yes, it's a boy. It's going to be a cross of Sam and Dustin when he was little. It'll be so awesome. lol
