Baby Showers

I have had 2 Showers this last week, they were so fun and I am very appreciative of everyone! Especially the people who planned it and made them both so fun!

The first one was with Dustin’s side of the family. We went to Asian star, YUM! Dustin’s sisters and sister-in-law were there and my niece Makelle, along with Dustin’s mom, Linda, and her sisters and mom and nieces. Bert’s 2 sisters and my mom and grandma. Whew.

Then we proceeded to eat, a lot, it was so good! After we ate we opened presents, everyone was so cute and nice in their gift giving! I couldn’t believe it! Here are just a few I managed to get pictures of

Even though those look like cup cakes, don’t be fooled, they are onesies wrapped in paper made to look like cup cakes, my sister-in-law Ang made them they are to die for cute and are still currently in cup cake form I can’t bare unwrapping them!

Dustin actually got these for us for my shower. We always think it’s so cute when little kids have their “running fast shoes”, so the note said, “These are to make our daughter run really fast and jump really high.” It was super cute and for some reason I almost cried!

These next gifts were all MADE by aunt Carol, I think that the blessing dress she made for me is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Also made me want to cry! She is amazing and so incredibly sweet for all her time and effort!

I got so much cute stuff, I wish I could show them all! My sisters-in-law, Mother-in-law, Grandma Nelson, and all Linda’s sisters gave me a gift card with enough money on it to get the glider we registered for!!!!!! I wanted it so bad and now I get to have it and it makes me SO happy!

Then we had cupcakes, holy crap they were good!

Then we left, the Asian waitresses were kicking us out because there was another big party coming. It was a homecoming group or should I say HOcoming group. I have never seen more skin in my life, except for in the shower. Reese is going to look beautiful at homecoming, but I’m afraid she is going to be the homely one at the dance because she will have a dress that actually fits her and isn’t 2 sizes too small. Anyway, it was a great shower and I am so grateful for everyone there and all they do for me!

Shower #2 was with all my besties we went to Olive Garden and ate, a lot, and opened presents. I didn’t get good pictures but Carli and April did such a good job! I got tons of cute stuff and Carli made delicious cupcakes that looked very professional, April made party favors of Reese’s pieces, way cute. We had fun! Haley and Sato couldn’t be there, I missed them, but we still had a good time!

Because Sato couldn’t be there I am going to show a pic of her on her wedding day because she looked beautiful!

Okay I have to go and stop avoiding the inevitable…..cleaning
