Yay! It’s working now and I don’t know why, so this is all written about a week ago, I know Easter wasn’t yesterday I am just too lazy to go through and change everything!
I haven’t blogged in forever! It bothers me, hopefully I can get back on it.
Easter was great, starting with church. Obviously Easter is so special because of Christ and his atonement and resurrection and in church that is the topic, you will definitely feel the spirit, but oh man I felt it so strong this week. It helps when you have an amazing teacher in Relief society, her lesson was not only on the atonement but how we apply it and find a testimony of it in our daily lives. It put a different perspective on the atonement for me. I love my savior!
Reese looked so pretty in her Easter dress and she was such a good and funny girl at church and at Nona and Grandpa’s!
We had a delicious dinner with dinner entertainment by Reese, she was sucking on a cantaloupe and laughing her head off. Nona got us an Easter basket with bows, shirts and summer jammies for Reese and candy and lotion for Dustin and I.
We had a great Easter!
Now for a fast update. Our life right now is pretty much just Reese and I. Dustin is in the heart of tax season and gets home at the earliest midnight every night. We miss him! I am coaching the softball team at West Jordan, so I have either a practice or game Monday through Friday, Reese goes to my mom’s every afternoon. She has so much fun. I miss her every time, pathetic I know. Besides coaching I am spending my days with Reese, singing and dancing and making a fool of myself but she thinks I am hilarious, one day she will figure out not to encourage me.
We also went on our first family trip, we went to St. George with the softball team, it was freezing and raining the whole time. The tournament ended up getting canceled, but Gabby was playing in Las Vegas that same weekend and so we went to Vegas with my parents, it was a little warmer there. Reese was SO good with the traveling. The wind and cold kind of bothered her. We made her a fort to block the wind and sun and she loved being outside.
