Special Things

We have special things in our life. By special I don’t mean something we cherish and think is so wonderful and important. By special I mean everything we own is broken or on it’s way to being broken. For Example, our lovely cars, we have probably put just about $4,000.00 into them since April, and they still aren’t running 100%. Our ”brand new” dishwasher, had to have someone repair it the first time we ever used it and it still doesn’t clean our dishes. The disposal in the sink doesn’t dispose very well, it sounds like there is something in there but there isn’t. The water pressure in the kitchen is so weak it takes 15 minutes to fill a pot of water to boil noodles, maybe 15 minutes is a little much but you get the point. Our laptop, hence the reason I haven’t blogged in a month, doesn’t even turn on anymore. The TV in our bedroom won’t let us watch the things we have recorded. And the list goes on, I am not complaining, I am grateful we even have these things at all, they just give me a head ache sometimes and makes us REALLY poor.

Conference was awesome, I love our prophet, I think he is the most sincere, loving and funny man! The talks were all so inspired, it still amazes me when I hear something that I have needed to hear, of all the millions of people that watch I can get an answer to a prayer. The church is true and I am so lucky to be part of it.
