Now that I am going to be home A LOT more, I am so excited to actually keep up on my bloggage. As we speak I am having a slight allergy attack. My eyes are itchy, I feel the urge to sneeze every second, my ears itch, the top of my mouth itches and my brain itches. Being pregnant I don’t know why I feel so hesitant to take any medicine, even though I am pretty sure my nurse told me I can take Zytrec. I will double check, because I hate being itchy.
Speaking of pregnant, I am 29 weeks now, can you hardly believe I will have a real, human child in 11 weeks?! I can’t and I can’t wait! I am feeling good, at my last appointment I had to drink this nasty sugar drink, it was like 18 melted orange otter pops that burned a little on the way down, to make sure I don’t have gestational diabetes, which I don’t but I am anemic. Which may explain the blood that was shooting from my thumb for 3 days straight.
This is me at 28 weeks, I look the same at 29 weeks
I am feeling good and we are getting really close, it’s becoming more real every day. Next month baby showers are starting, it’s insane. Now I have even more friends that are pregnant which is making me really happy. It’s going to be a good and tiring year people!
We are making such good progress on our nursery, I’m loving it more and more. I wanted to show you the rug I painted. I will show more pics of the nursery when we get the bedding on the crib that my mother-in'-law is making (it’s to die for!). But for now I will share my rug.
I bought this rug from IKEA for $40.00, the stencil at hobby lobby for about $15.00 and a sample color of this yellow at Lowes for $3.00. Not bad for a custom rug that no one else will have right? Plus it was really fun.
I started in the middle and worked my way out from there, luckily the pattern wasn’t something that I had to be precise and line up perfectly, but I still measured so it didn’t look horrible.
This is the pattern up close
And this is the final product, I loved how it turned out!
Hopefully really soon I will be posting pics of the crib and bedding
Oh one more thing

Ooh the rug looks GREAT! I have seen a lot of people painting that rug from Ikea and yours looks adorable! You look awesome and so cute too!
P.S. Forgot to write this in the last post, but I don't think you should feel remotely guilty about taking unemployment! You paid into that and it is there for these situations! You guys are not abusing it or living some high life while being lazy! Take the unemployment and don't worry about what others think! :)
LOVE the rug almost as much as I love your cute pregnant belly!
