The Heavy Waites: I don’t know?

I have decided that I love blogging world. I can spend hours reading and looking at blogs. It gets to the point that I have a head ache and my eyes hurt, I have issues! I read other people’s blogs that I don’t have any clue who they are, and then I find people who went to my high school who I didn’t know their new last name and that they have children, it is awesome and so exciting to see!

This summer I have vowed that I am going to exercise more, not because I want to have a great bikini bod or that I need to loose weight but just for the fact of being healthy. I want to have a healthy body and heart and mind. The only problem is I would rather watch the Bachelorette, food network, hgtv, So You Think You Can Dance, decorate my house, garden, clean the kitchen, the bathroom, pull weeds, eat, you get the point right. In my efforts to exercise more we went to the Nike store and got me some of those cute work out pants and those tanks with the built in bra and some running shoes (thanks to my sister-in-law for working there so we get a discount and don’t spend a fortune). I am TOTALLY faking everyone out because of how awesome I look! It sounds crazy but it really does make me want to exercise more because I have a cute outfit.

These are my new running shoes, they are called “the flex”, “the freeze” or something? They are kid shoes, hence the pink, but if you buy them in grown up sizes they are $95.00 and I got these for $30.00 WHAT WHAT! So I will deal with the pink and get a pedicure or 2 with the extra $65.00 I saved.

I love my kitty; Zoey, Zoey the Lion, Zoey Woey, Kitters, Zo Bo, Favorite, Chubbers, Tiny Winy… I think she is the cutest and funniest and best kitty in the world. We find that our camera is full of pictures like this:

We need a kid

I am obsessed with Harry Potter. I have had multiple dreams about the 7th movie. Me being one of Harry’s side kicks, sorry Ron and Hermonie I do a much better job than you guys! I have never read the books, so I decided I was going to start, I just finished the 2nd one. I find myself going outside when it is gloomy and feeling as though Voldemort is going to attack. Can’t wait for the movie!

I love decorating my house. If only we had more money! Here are a few thing I have done so far.

I will explain how I did this in a later post, I love it!

Don’t judge there are 15 food network magazines and 2 Ensigns….unopened. I am a bad person.

I got a bunch of thing from garage sales and repainted them, Tai Pan is the best and shout out to Hobby Lobby! We are going to hang the TV and hide the cords so just pretend.

This hutch used to be my grandparents who live in St. George and my other grandma that lives in South Jordan was giving a lot of her old china away last weekend and it looks great in this room and with the style of the hutch.

I love summer for the fresh food! We moved in a little late in the gardening season so we don’t have much and we didn’t have any time to fix our soil so it was nice and healthy, so we have some green chili plants and a couple tomato plants and some basil and some lettuce. Our soil is like pure clay where we planted the green chili’s and 1 tomato plant so they are SO SO sad:

They have been planted for a month and haven’t frown an inch! Poor things they are going to die. Next year we are going to get some good soil and make sure there is a good place for plants to grow. We may even have to do garden boxes because the soil is so bad. In another area of our backyard where the soil isn’t so bad we have another tomato plant and some basil and some lettuce I am crossing my fingers it grows!

I can’t tell if those little green things are lettuce or weeds so we will see how that goes.
